I want to go to these areas in pakistan as i do not have any relatives in either areas i will be staying in a hotel. Please can reccomend me any reasonable priced hotels in both cities? (looking for around 3-5000 Rupees a night) Please provide me with any links to their websites.
Which areas is it best to stay in a hotel in lahore/karachi and which ones should be avoided?
Also is it quite safe in both cities for travelling in taxi wise, to and from the hotel etc.
5000 Rupees a night? Are you serious? I think you could get a very good room in Lahore/Karachi for around 2000.
If you want to stay at Pearl Continental, that would be 8000 Rupees/night as far as I know.
hmmm you can stay in Avari, PC, Holiday Inn where ever u want with that much. So don't worry about that. Yea traveling on a taxi is fine but don't show yourself as someone from a foreign country, its safer that way. Otherwise bhi its safe Alhamdulilah. PC, Holiday Inn, Avari all are kinda in the center of city, so you can stay at any of those. These hotels do provide rent a car service, you can use that if you want.

The maximum i was willing to pay was 5000, so now that u have said 2000 i'll stick to 2000.
