Steve Bucknor with Bob Woolmer ??? the ? mark is about the latter one as i’m quite sure the other one is Steve Bucknor … noone else puts up his finger like this

Best catch ever !!! Oh c’mon gimme a break … M. Sinclair (NZ) diving to his left (he is right hander) held a much better one recently in the 1st ODI agains the Aussies … and there is one that D. Martyn held in SA last time AUS played there i think in the 2nd test … he held one between cover and point jumping+Diving to his left (he is right hander) almost verticaly in the air and standing like a 1 in the air to take it just by his fingertips … and the List goes on & on

Although this catch by Glen McGrath during the 2003 Ashes in Australia is dubbed as a 'miracle catch', I agree with Zero_one that there are countless others worth mentioning. Another one that rings a bell is by Sachin Tendulkar where he ran a good 30 yards from long off to make the catch in front of the sight-screen. It was also one handed. I believe it was against us.

Another more recent one was Yuvraj in a one-dayer versus Bangladesh where he took a one eye blinder while jumping a feww feet in the air at Point. it was a slash cut from BD opener's bat.

And yes, the umpires are David Shepherd and Steve Bucknor.
