I can swear I remember the film scene. I can even remember the small dimunitive man standing beside Amitabh when he delivered this dialogue, and I believe both of them were a bit drunk at that time (the same guy who is in Namak Halal)...but I just couldn't figure out the name of the movie. Proly bcz I saw it ages ago.....
yes, u got that much right…so if it helps, Rishi Kapoor (the short guy) is in that movie as well along with one more actor, and they’re all brothers…ok, now it’s a DEAD give-away

Then you havent watched namak halal, the old one with Amitabh and Shashi kapoor. His daddu cares for him all his life. And there is a dialogue in which he says "Daddu Tum". Now the could be another film, but i dunno. Kiddo? Am i right?

It is from the same movie where Shashi is a cop and AB a bad guy. At one point they are arguing, and AB goes: mere paaas paisa hai, ghaaRi hai, kothi hai, tumhaare paas kaya hai?. Shashi waits a second, and then answers in a very cool tone: Mere paas maaN hai!.. One hell of a one-liner
