Good job but i think i gave too much away
Amitabh ji does such a good job in this movie, well he does good in all his movies.
Desimunda do you remember this whole film>??
Cuz its really touching when he comforts his father at his mothers death. Amitabh ji does not say a single word and yet he says everything. Amazing simply Amazing.
ok someone else has to take a turn now
p.s the Darr one was a difficult one

ok here's one...

scene: Dilip kumar is roaming the streets of bombay with his wife on a rainy night...his printing press was set on fire the nite b4, and in the morning, he was evicted from his home...no where to go, they just keep on walking when all of a sudden his wife's physical condition starts deteriorating (i dunno what she is suffering from...but she's in great pain)...feeling desperate, and being the middle of the nite with not a single soul in site, he starts calling out:

"Ay bhai!! koi hai!! meri patni ko hospital lijaana hai..ay bhai!! wo mar jaaey gi...koi hai!!!"

trying to get attention, he smashes a few windows with stones, with no luck...and tries to stop passing vehicles, again with no luck...and while he's doing this, his wife dies...

it's a very sad scene, and is very well done...alwayz brings me to the brink of crying whenever i see it...amazing movie.

Desi,

firstly, a very nice thread.. been following it and enjoying it as well...

Here's my part:

Taxi Driver (after hearing the name of the ride): "hmmm.. 'Butch!' what does that mean?"

Ride: "Its American honey!, our names don;t mean $hit!"

"Ay bhai!! koi hai!! meri patni ko hospital lijaana hai..ay bhai!! wo mar jaaey gi...koi hai!!!"

I may be wrong but I thought it was "Mazdoor" nah?!

thanx ghalib…just following an idea from a member who had started a similar thread dedicated to Amitabh Bachan (i think it was sianikuri)

now this line is verrrrrry familiar…esp. “butch”…i know this movie…lemme think over it for a bit…

and no, that particular scene is from Mashaal (i’m sure there have been similar scenes in other movies 2)
