**One of the youngest detainees held at the US detention centre in Guantanamo Bay will sue the United States for compensation, his lawyers say. ** Mohammed Jawad was released and arrived in his native Afghanistan earlier this week. He was detained at 12 in 2002.
He was in custody for nine years and is now 19. The Pentagon, however, has disputed his age.
Mr Jawad had been accused of injuring two US soldiers and their interpreter by throwing a grenade at their vehicle.
