GS sugar-cut challenge!

I feel guilty for cheating last evening and hogging:eat: onto some delicious mithai a colleague got from Lahore!!! slurp slurp… i can still eat some more :p.:devil:..but there is nothing left. Need to get back to portion control seriously.:daaghu2:

Sugar is so addicting. I for example..love custard..but i had to cut down so much on sugar..due to my intense workouts. I have been following Boxer's diet. Training to take part in boxing for local charity here..

I lost around 2 kgs too.
I’m no longer consciously cutting sugar but since the past week or so, I don’t crave desserts. I’d have it in front of me but not eat it. I take once in a while still.

One more step I've taken is skipping French vanilla creamer in coffee that I was almost addicted to. It defo had a lot of sugar. Although I'm still taking half n half but its non-sweet.

Next step will be to avoid it as well and use milk instead, if not black

I have cut down on sugar long time ago and have been actively working out for last 4 years. One of the best decision i ever made. And managed to get attractive body.

I had baklawa after dinner :smack: totally back to sugar atleast partially if not full. Need to cut down completely. Only achievement is eliminating it out of coffee

I had chocoflan cake early morning ( it’s 6:50 am here)

Okay, I do that too. I skip the sugar in chai and coffee and then binge eat sugary junkfood. What a waste of effort.

Today’s meals:

Breakfast: Ensure and a bottle of water
Snack: 2 Reese’s and half a bottle of water
Lunch: Pretzel bites (salty and cinnamon) and coke
Dinner: 4 KitKat bars and Ensure, ibuprofen and a gulp of water

Ok I’ve so many questions now.

Why did you take Ensure? why not normal bf.

Why Reese, Pretzel and coke?

and then Kitkat?

And why ibuProfen? :konfused:

I will not be participating in the sugar cut challenge until I first finish the entire pack of the strawberry shortcake ice cream bar. :naraz:

and that my friend is always the biggest problem. Seriously! We usually have a lot of visitors who want to see my mom (she’s the eldest in fam), so a lot of them always bring something. Even now while i’m typing there is a piece of tres-leche sitting right by me :smack:

I can control well when there is nothing sweet available but thats so unlikely to happen most of the times :bummer:

[USER][/USER] Totally understandable. Your house is heaven for someone like me. Every now and then I discipline myself by not cooking/buying desserts, but when cravings hit me I’ll binge eat my kid’s jellies/treats/crackers. :mad:
Honestly my meals are incomplete without roti so I use buckwheat ataa and it helps me stay full longer. Always stay within low glycemic index.

I’ll be starting this tomorrow. @LP I’ve been living on snacks too lately and I’m so afraid to check my weight. My shirts are getting tighter and that’s not not good news. :mad::mad:

Cashmere lets start doing Cardio exercises at home. Whatever you can do. Jumping jack, pushups, situps, squats, lunge or anything that you want to start with easily. Lets do it! :bobo:
