GS study cohort

is there any interest in picking some interesting courses at courser or edx, kinda like the book of the month club, and people can take those courses and discuss them here. They are free, you can go at your own pace, and can actually even go and go through completed courses if you want.

They dont have to be

eg for ppl starting or changing careers a course like this one can be interesting

Re: GS study cohort

I have taken several courses. a couple I am actually doing all the assignments and tests. Others I am auditing, and going through materials and lectures as I can. good stuff.

The challenge is that the number of participants is large so the discussions are just like a bazaar…many posts, limited if any interaction. so a smaller cohort of people with some shared interest who can discuss it on GS can be great.

I saw one topic that would have been phenomenal for us but that course hs no current sessions…less of a career topic unless there are ppl in constitutional law, diplomacy and activism etc for whom it is a career thing.
