Re: GS Photography learning classes with dubaiwali
Hold up people. The 'learning how to take a proper picture' comes "AFTER" Eid!! Read through the thread people!! Right now we are doing fun exercises to pass the time! I agreed that main lessons will start after Eid, because everyone will be busy in last 10 days of Ramadan and first 3 days of Eid. I want to see people edit photos, so I know the thought process and how much people know, before I start teaching them! This is why I asked all of you to take a picture of something in your home and post it in this thread!!
Re: GS Photography learning classes with dubaiwali
What may work in real life that is combined with many objects may not necessarily work in a photo. I have dozens of pictures that looked great in real life and didn’t have the same effect in a picture and vice versa.

Okie dokies!!
I have picasa. So I'm suppose to edit the picture I posted and post the edited version on here?
Do I edit using picnik??
Re: GS Photography learning classes with dubaiwali
Yes, edit the photo that you posted. In your opinion, what can you do to make it better. I want to see the edited version. Not Picnik because they've gone out of business. Use Picasa.

Re: GS Photography learning classes with dubaiwali
most of the time I forget to take a camera with me when I'm out and I miss a great shot. My SO thinks I take way too many pictures only because he would take 2/3 pics if he went an event while I would pick 30/40 pictures out of about 80 pics that I took.
hey kakee i wanted to ask shoul i enroll your name for these photography classes n include you in pm list for updates, plz confirm?

Well tbh I don't see the point in including me in the massive PM because I can see it through this thread can't I?
as I said if you're learning the basics I can just hover around but I don't see how the classes would benefit me since I've already gone through the stuff I just want to be critiqued and critique others as well as possibly make suggestions.
I have more of an art view than a point and shoot when I'm actually doing a shoot. A lot of my pictures are just point and shoot...while trying not to get lost.
You are most welcome to participate in this thread when critiques are going on. Apart from that, I did promise you a separate thread and I'm going to discuss about that with DA and get back to you on that.
