It is with great pleasure that the GS extends its heartfelft greetings and best wishes to all Muslims in the world on the auspicious occasion of the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan. We ask Allah SWT to grant us all good deeds, peace, security and all types of blessings in this special and holy month. Ameen.
Allah SWT said the Holy Qur’an:
"The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong).
During this month every single muslim try to recite complete quran atleast one time. Some recite a alone and someothers recite in a group. We GS Management, First time in the history, organized 'online Qur’an recitation in a/v chatroom where you can recite it in your own voice. Purpose is to encourage our brother and sister to come learn the Qur’an and teach it. As it is narrated in Hadit:
A Saying of the Prophet Muhammad
“Narrated 'Uthman: "The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” [Book ‘Virtues of the Quran’ of Sahih Bukhari Hadith No. 545]
Belows are the simple guidlines:
1- Recitation of Qur’an will start from 6th August 2011 onwards every single night in the holy month of ramdan at 1130pm Pakistan Standard Time.
2- Members who wish to recite Qur’an are welcome to register their name in this thread.
3- The Holy Qur’an must be read in sequence.
4- Member must acknowledge the verses number in this thread enabling others members to start from recitation right from its next verses.
5- Members are allowed to skip any sessions simply by acknowledging in this thread. Same goes with listeners too.
6- Duration of each session will be one hour.
7- All session of recitation will be held in a/v chatroom.

sure, you can! yesterday, LKK asked Fusion Middleware Bhai to recite but un fortunately he could NOT because his family was asleep and he didn't want to disturb them, naturally!...yes...come over :)
