Firefox randomly blocks access to GS and can’t get it to open up again without restarting the computer! Works fine in Chrome and IE.. Other sites load up just fine FF. What could be reason?

- Remove any add-on you have to block the websites
- Make sure Javascript is enabled

Don't have any blockers and javascript is enabled. Other sites work fine when gs don't work and GS works most of the time, just out of the blue sometimes does not load up.

That is strange…
What version do you have installed?
Maybe try removing it and installing again?

I'm using FF 3.5.5 and only add-ons installed are Google toolbar and Kasperky URL advisor..
I guess it might help but before I do that, any other solutions?

Have you tweaked your internet explorer security settings?
have you played with the firewall available in you pc ( windows or if you have any of yours)?
and also try the methods given here:
PS for mods / admin: Link is from mozilla and not from any other outer source .

Didn't play with any settings in ff/ie or firewall...
The link you posted, aaho, I tried the last solution (turning off IPv6) it worked! But then just to make sure I turned it back on and restarted browser, it still worked.. so dunno if that has anything to do with the blocking? :/ thanks
