For the next couple of days in Audio Gallery, it’s all about Atif Aslam.
Atif Aslam is a 27 year old Pakistani pop star who has also made it big in India and is the third Pakistani singer (after NFAK and strings) to be featured in a hollywood movie! He holds a bachelors in Computer Sciences and first started singing in 1998 when he won a singing competition in college! The “Jal” band was formed when he met other musicians in his university and they started doing mini concerts at several functions. Their first official song “Aadat” was released in 2004 which became the number one hit of the year! He began his solo career in late 2004 with the release of his album, Jalpari.
He has released three albums so far - Jalpari, Doorie and Meri Kahani. Things seem to be going great for this young guy! He is making his acting debut in a Lollywood film titled “Bol” and is planning on releasing an album in late 2011 with the international band Guns n’ Roses!
