I spend 12 to 16 hours multi-tasking between GS and my own work. Luckily I am in IT and have two computers at work therefore I can have my fill of GS there. At home I have my dedicated notebook therefore no fights with family members about use of PC. But my wife sometimes gets POed when she will have dinner ready on the table and will be calling me and I will tell her one minute I am coming you start. Or she wants me do some household chore and I will be procrastinating because of being on GS.
Are you so much addicted to GS ? How do you cope with this addiction ?

I am in support role so like now I do not have anything to do other than do flooding but I choose not to do so.

LOL totally agree... I am having midterms for last 4 weeks and finals are starting in next two weeks,but am spending more time here and watching Prison break then studying ..

GS is addictive, but balancing is the key! Initially, for a few weeks to months, everyone gets excited about being here...posting something, then waiting for a response. Later on, you realize that you can always go back and check. Don't get your family upset over GS. This is temporary fun, but family is permanent...you know that already Mirch bhai and if you didn't care, you wouldn't have asked.

Yeh I am cutting down on GS at home. But at work it is ok because my nature of work is so that I can have GS on one screen and Office work on the other . Multi-tasking is the name of the game.

I do not have to produce anything. I come into picture when they stop producing . Which happens but seldom. Like a couple of days ago $15M orders got stuck , company had to fill orders and get paid. I helped resolve it and everybody was happy and the I went back to GS again. My job is kind of insurance policy for the company . You have to buy it though you might not have to use it ever. I hope it stays that way , Ameen.
