Yes, I have come to realize that GS is filled up with crackheads. What I mean by crackheads? Those people who are loners in real life, who have nothing to do, who just sit out with an empty/dull mind and involve themselves in fitna and creating it. These people are not the regular folks you meet n greet on a regular basis. These are addicts of their own drug, which I for the life of me don’t know what that is. I am happy to know SOME GS’ers are normal people.

I think our entire desi community has more interesting and rangeen characters than we like to think.
Why don't drama writers come up with more original stuff - so much inspiration. Just come to GS and hear my stories - you can come up with 10 drama serials on my BS alone.

I think some aspects of GS do represent the messed up qualities/characeteristics of our desi community.
Before it was all hush hush and swept under the carpet, but the internet warriors cannot keep quiet any longer!

GS for some people can be a wonderful place to have friendships and company without the worries of polite society. When I had my 3 boyz one after the other, I was home all the time, changing diapers, not always the shiniest house, not always looking so nice. I got to visit here and have friends without the worries of those things. I was able to interact when I had a few free moments and when I was busy, no one took offense. Its really a great place and has been a light in my life for a number of years now.
Something I noticed over those years is that when people are very happy with their lives or their relationships, there isnt interest in hearing about it. And there is sometimes even negative response to people who love their lives lol! People come here to vent, to hear about dirt, to dish it out and to try to avoid the consequenses! Keeps things lively! And you know, there are always really helpful and kind people giving the best advice even in the most bashed-on threads.
Mama loves GS. Yer all here, 24-7-365 and even though I'm getting busier and not here as often, its such a comfort to know that its here and always will be. INshallah.
