Today, the chat window suddenly disappeared and I got the message to “login again”. Had to refresh the page and everything was back again.

OS: Windows 7
Browser: Chrome

Was the outage a few minutes, or were you able to resume right away?

I was able to resume right away. I was chatting with a member and suddenly both of us lost the chat (apparently disconnected). But F5 did the trick and everything was normal again.

Same issue with chat room.

Thank you both. It was reported earlier as well, but I wasn't sure if you're reporting it for the same reason. Short of taking down the chat while it is fixed, please continue to bear with us as we make necessary adjustments to resolve the problem. If you notice any anomalies, please reach out to one of the team members so that we can make sure to address it.

The chatroom seems to cause a crash when pulling up chat logs, so if possible avoid that for the time-being. We'll make a general announcement to let the users know, and request cooperation in that regard.
