How many of you hold grudges?
I have only ever been hurt deep enough by an individual on two occasions, for me to bother.
I have just watched silence of the lambs and its gonna be an interesting night.

But ashhy, don't somethings stick in your mind very prominantly? To the extent that forgiveness is a deed beyond you?
For example, as that woman (in silence of the lambs) who was stuck ina well, i would find it hard to forgive the man who'd shoved me in there and starved me.

i only hold grudges if i care enough about the person...there cannot be hate without love.

The case you describe is a bit extreme, but in real life I have friends that I had differences with in the past.

Hmm I don't even though I have had some crappy stuff done to me. Two biggest things were a guy I had trusted blabbing private stuff to everyone and I went around with sky high blood pressure for so long because that stuff would have gotten me in tons of trouble.
Hands down the worst someone has done to me though is a family member kicking me out even though they knew I had no place to go and repeatedly telling tales to my parents about me instead of talking to me about them. I left their place the very next day. I'm still in touch with them, have offered to baby sit their kids. Mostly I push the incident out of my mind but when I remember it I feel so angry and hurt.
Lekin kya karein, people will always do crap to you. I think grudges are useless and don't get you anywhere. However you should learn from them and be more careful next time, forgive but never forget.

yup.. and only with my cousin, but than i get over it cus SHE apologizes.. haha..
but than there are some people that i just cant stand looking at.

I dont hold grudges.....forgiveness is sweeter :)
it takes time to forgive some1 though. especially if they have hurt you really bad.

Either talk it out, or let go! Holding grudges doesn't help a bit....

I do that but I have to make an effort not too.
Its not healthy for the person holding the grudge.
Talk it out .. or if it doesnt matter enough move on. :)

I hold grudges and try to overcome them but usually that takes a lot of time.

Naah I don't. Though it's very difficult to forget things but not that difficult to forgive.
