spock, every country has its own oxford and cambridge. yet all of the universities cant be oxford and cambrige in the same country.

so as Xeno said, you are grossly wrong in context here. you either want oxford or nothing. but 170 million people cant wait for your oxford and cambridge to come into existance.

so chill out, regulated institutes are better then computer college on every cornor as it used to be. and new unis are given tasks to gradually improved or face delisting from status of university. free market will decide.

there are public sector unis too so its not all private one and money making schemes, and dont tell me giki and lums are for the poor masses of Pakistan.

we r gonna experience great down fall in higher education system if PPP government remains, this government has already halffed thebudget of HEC,coz of that some high reputated institutes like NUST and others are suffering a great deal,this government actually belongs to illetrate background and has no intrest whats so ever in education system, all the huge progress which institutions made in last decade r going to b ruined by PPP government. so v should ruin them b4 they ruin our educated system and make PAKISTAN unsafe for our coming generations
