I cant stop wondering on the timing of this. Since punishing these will come down to judiciary and government responsibility so Is this (capture of this group and announcing it to people) is one way for the army/establishment to turn up heat/pressure on N league?
If judiciary/n league punish this group then they lose allies and support that they get from extremist groups. If they don't punish these guys then they look bad in eyes of people of Pak.

Hopefully this would put a stop to the outlandish conspiracy theories of labeling Malala Yousufzai, a 16 year old teenager, as an agent of western intelligence. Unless of course these conspiracy theorists believe the entire world including DG Asim Bajwa is involved in a “global conspiracy against”…terrorists? Pakistan? Islam? Though I have a feeling that the conspiracy theorists who invented these allegations against Malala will find another absurd theory to explain the arrest of these terrorists - an explanation that would probably lay some kind of blame on the U.S.
On the different note, the capture of these militants, who went ahead and shamelessly attacked a 16 year old girl, is indeed a great development in the Pakistani military’s fight against militancy. We hope to see justice served which would restore a sense of safety in the minds of hundreds of parents that would like to see their children earn an education in a secure environment.
