Nicol drove the ball hard and flat back at Danajaya. the bowler had his hands up to try and catch it but the ball burst through and smashed into his face. He isn't cut but that would have hurt plenty

I agree. 175 is a very chaseable target. Those 2 wickets in the 18th over really hurt New Zealand. Otherwise 190+ would have been very much possible.

Are you guys suggesting that teams need to score 190+/- in every game? Don't think so. NZ are not Bangladesh
160-170 is a par score in T20Is, 175+/- is 50-50 and 190+ gives you 80% chance to win the match
Not impossible but not very gettable total either

Not in every game. But on an extremely batting-friendly pitch like this one, 160-170 is definitely not a par score.
