Girls trying to grow their hair but it has all kinds of split ends, the color of the bottom of the hair looks different from the top, and it’s all dry and frizzy.
Isn’t it better to have healthy looking short hair than go for the nasty long haired look?
yeah! ugh, pet peeve. i always check for split ends in my hair, i don’t care if i have to go bob cut to get my hair looking healthy as long as i don’t see horrid dry ends and splits ends the size of russia. funnily enough, i’ve seen tons of girls who have hair down to their waist yet it is SO DEAD. you know why!!! cuz the length matters more NA! SAMJHA KARO. kainchee doh, mai sab theek kar doon
^I actually did this to my cousin. Her hair was down to her butt and SO thick but she wouldn't take hair of it or even brush it properly. It was matted and grossssss.
I told her it was for her own good, sat her down and chopped it off! But I'm not mean, I took her to have it cut properly and she did me proud and let the hairdresser convince her to go for a bob. It looked so awesome. But then she didn't take care of it again :|
Healthy is deffo in .. that means having regular trims, getting ur colour done, hair masks, conditioning treatments and the like:k:… because every female is defintely worth it:hehe:..
I have a haircut once a year as I'm trying to grow it long, luckily for me tho I don't get split ends. Anyone trying to grow their hair should just make sure they take care of the split ends and when they get their hair cut don't forget to stress that u only want the split ends cut off (Hair dressers seem to have a phobia against long hair)
I used to work with a sikh girl that had never ever trimmed her hair. Once she let her hair out of the bun and it was like 1 long rat tail all the way to her ankles, all the white girls were like 'wow look how long your hair is' while I had to hold back the vomit!
I get mine trimmed every 6 weeks, my husband moans but I would prefer thick shiny healthy mid-length hair over ratty frizzy waist length hair.
I am prone to split ends regardless of what length i have cut my hair to. I had shoulder length hair from age 13-20, I’m 26 now. I use oils treatments and repair shampoos to help and trim as needed. however naturally even as a child i have had reddish brownish hair at the tips due to sun exposure. I don’t think my hair is nasty looking at all. In fact with the few split ends i do have the long shiny hair that i carry gets me noticed, and compliments. most girls can’t grown their hair past a certain length so i take pride in being able to. at the same time it takes a lot of work/treatments to keep those split ends away.
I agree, with a little bit of effort long hair looks nice and there’s so much you can do with it. To answer the OP’s question, yes if it’s an unruly mass of frizzy hair that tapers down to a fine ‘rats-tail’ that is indeed ‘gross’.
Thanks for the compliment it’s actually a really cute salwar kameez with a dupatta tied around my waist. Also Gina thanks for sticking up for the girls with long hair. I cut my hair once because my friends told me to and realized they did it bc deep down inside they wished they had longer hair. I don’t think I can ever go back to shoulder length hair again. At the same time if any of you girls see a chick with damaged badly maintained hair at any length maybe you should politely hint at deep conditioning treatments and such.
yeah eh! i tell them cut off 3 inches, for example, and he does cut off 3 inches. but then the final length after trimming and styling is like 5 inches shorter than i started out with. what the? though this time the guy was like “are you sure you want to cut all of this off?” and i was like yes please! just cut it off.
Zaeina, please read Sweet_LiL_Hunnie’s extensive post as to how to take care of hair She seems well versed in how to have long gorgeous hair
Umm…I never dissed long hair. I’ve grown out my hair and cut them again numerous times, because I’m not insecure about my hair and am not too afraid to keep changing my hairstyle every so often instead of looking stagnant year in and year out. You like long hair, good for you. That doesn’t mean you assume what others are talking about then
I don't understand what the obsession is with long hair. Like some girls have hair all the way down to their ass and have no style whatsoever, such a turnoff.
