ladies, your all beautiful and i know that the centre of attention will be you, but lets face it, you have to have some kind of attention for the grooms.
after all, its them that set you off and complete the whole matrimonial story.
just wanted to get some ideas for grooms dresses and general menswear on Mehndi, Baraat and Walima.
Kurtha Pyjama for Mehndi, Sherwani for baraat and suit for walima is getting a bit standard really. heres what i had in mind.
Mehndi - thats obviously gonna stay the same but was thinking wth a twist. instead of wearing a parna, how about a coloured cravat to match the shawls the grroms boys will be wearing?
Wedding Day - i agree with sherwani but about fushion sherwani where its a mix of asian and english designs?

i'm confused for the valima ceremony... the brides dress is off-white with brown/bronze embroidery on it (i have seen it, thats y i'm not too sure for the colors). What combination should i be wearin ? i'm thinkin of a 3 piece suit but confused for the color combination... please advise...

If a bride is wearing orange on her mehendi what colour is the groom to wear? my fiance is quite stocky and will be quite muscley by the mehendi ... i always thought coloured kurta's suited tall skinny boys.. my fiance is average height but stocky!

simple thing to do is to wear a black suit with an off white shirt and matching bronze/brown tie. or for more a subtle look, change the black suit for a light grey one so its not too overpowering.

if the guy is stocky then dark colours look better. coloured kurta i think suits everyone whether they are short or tall, thin or fat but depends on the actual colour itself. if the bride is wearing orange then i would say the groom should wear either matching colour kurta or a white kurta with a matching parna or shawl around his neck. i know i may have contradicted myself by saying white (considering i said wear light colours) but the contrast would set it off well.
