well i m getting married in June, the wedding will be in lahore but him and I are returning to US after the wedding…so my haq meher will be in dollars…i think ard $1500-2K.
From what i knw abt haq meher…it is suppose to be a certain % of the grooms income (not sure what %). So depends on his income…if its in dollars…i wuld think haq meher shld be in dollars too .
Our desi culture has changed it (both in india and pakistan girls are asking for the amount that “in”)
