whats the trend in Pakistan for groom 's dresses ..
In shadi before sometime shirwani+Khullah+khussai +pajama/shalwar was the trend before..whts the current trend..i m quite tall (6.2) i never wear this shairwani or pajama ..pata naheen kaisaa lagai gaa
and in walime , suit was trend some 4/5 year beofre .I am plannig to have double breasted Gray suit with soem darkish(blackish) shade color with matching tie..
what is the best place in karachi to get shiarwani + suit and this stuff..
how much time it need to prepare?
for mayion : some shade of green (mehdi colour) it cud be a sherwani with a straight shalwar or sheryami with a pyajama n shoes like khussa or kola purri (in vogue) or kohattee chapal.dont forget to wear a chunree wala duppata
for barat: something in matching or contrast to the brides dress or any shade which the brides dress has. men are weraing suits as well as sherwanis. colours are in toness of brown or golden (mostly)
for valima: its a suit with darker shades preferably blue or in match to the brides dress coz they wear dark dresses too (normally)
For Mayoo, wear white trendy kurta shalwar. Goto Kurta Gali on Tariq Road, it has all the big names along with dozens of others. JJ, Junoon, Humayon Saied, Ameer Adnan, AiJjaz, Kasih Hussain are the big names in Pak. You can find them all on Tariq Road and Zamzama.
For Mehndi, wear something off-white or coffee color rawsilk Kurta Shalwar. With a brown/grey stole (shawl type). Again goto same locations.
For Shaadi, wear light golden Jamawaar Sherwaani with Maroon Rajhistani turban. Don't go for kullah for God sake, they are out of fashion for last 10 years. Wear a nice golden kaam wala Khussa with pointed Sindbad toes. Sherwaani can be bought (on spot if a perfect fit) and/or altered (in a week or 4 days) on the same locations. They have big line ups for Groom's sherwaniz.
For Valima, plz don't go for Grey or beige or any other color but Black or Navy Blue. Double breasted are almost forbidden in the entire world. Never even think about them. Get a nice two button or three button single-breast (fabric=Cordoba/Lawrencepur) stiched (made to order in a week) from either Jalaldin or MoosaJee (Sadar Karachi). I would not recommend you to buy shirt or tie from Pak though. If you decided the suit color now, you can easily get a shirt and tie from any men's fashion store here in North Amercia.
