YOWZA!!! OMG!!!! That is ridiculous!!! And when I say ridiculous, I mean how different the bride looks in the before and after pictures. In this case, I almost, sort of, don't blame the guy for wanting a refund, er, or whatever he's looking for. Talk about false advertising.
How true is this story? The article seems to mention Algiers, but that is very Pakistani looking clothes and make-up?

When we look at picture, it is hard to believe that woman is actual the same woman wearing make-up. But when I have posted a video of a girl how make-up make her prettiest than there is very less chances of being in doubt.
Have you seen that video?

I made the Pakistani comment because, somehow this if the bride is Pakistani (assuming based on clothes and make-up), then this is a Pakistani-Algerian wedding? Not to say that Pakistanis don’t marry men from Algiers, but it just makes me question this a bit.
I agree that make-up makes a world of a difference! Um, I can clean up pretty well with make-up too 
But this is beyond cleaning up - she looks like two TOTALLY different people!!! Oh one more thing, if the make-up is legit, then kudos to the make-up artist - she really is amazing at her trade. Notice that not only did she cover the women’s face with a much lighter foundation, she ensured to cover her neck/chest AND arms!!! The makeup looks seamless.

it still amazes me how makeup could change you. Even of other girls does 10% of make what she did, thats a lot. I think makeup should be criminalized if used like that.
Even a 20 grand plastic surgery couldn't do a better job than 50 bucks sephora makeup.

@Muniya the news might be legit, but I have my doubts about the attached pic. I don't think that is the real bride. Why would she take two pics in the same dress, with and without makeup?

Before and after pics at the salon. Quite common actually for a salon to show the miracles they can render. As much as I am a skeptic. I notice that the woman has a mole on her cheek that is also noticeable (though covered with make-up) in the second pic as well. I think the lighting is also an issue - the pic in which she looks dark-skinned, the lighting is dark which just makes the contrast to the bright-lit room with her brighter make-up, that much more noticeable. It’s like the before and after pics of the weight-loss commercials. There was an article that showed that the pics were manipulated to show a supposed drastic weightloss, not through actual weight-loss, but via lighting and posture differences in the before and after pics.

I read something similar to this: A husband sued his wife after the birth of their child because the child didn't look like either of them. So, it was revealed before the wife got married she had an excessive amount of cosmetic procedures. After all, the baby took after the genes of the mother.
These days, over social media such as Instagram and YouTube we see girls (and even guys!) piling up on make-up using techniques such as contouring, highlighting, etc and if you were to take a look at the before and after shots, you'd be surprised at the difference cosmetics can make!
