Grocery store Bee-atch

I went to the grocery store last week with just my youngest boy. I parked in one of the 4 special spots they have for “parent with infant/child”. Got out of my car and walked into the aisle to see if I could spy a nearby shopping cart. WELL. A woman with an infant came up to me and said “Excuse ME but WHERE is your child?” in a really nasty/haughty manner. I thought she was going to lash into me for leaving my little guy while I got a cart. So I said “I can still see him, he’s in the car seat passenger side…I’m just trying to find a cart” and she replied “Oh. OK. I just HATE when people without kids take these parking spots.” What a b1tch!!!

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

I’ve parked in one of those spots before, but it was a total emergency. :halo: Luckily I wasn’t caught. Some of these grocery shopping moms are total psychopaths.

Even for regular parking, some ladies will literally follow you into the grocery store and start arguing cause they think you took their parking spot.

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

ummm maybe just maybe she had a rough experience before with women who didnt have kids but took her place.

in case i am wrong wat a WITCH with a B

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

You know what pisses me off even more? Its these (b)witches that stand in the deli line and ask for a taste of this and a taste of that, feeding themselves and their little (brat lol!), complain about the thickness of the slices etc etc etc while the line gets longer and longer.

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

...and THEN....at the checkout counter, they're so busy perusing the latest photos of Brad Pitt that they dont load up their groceries, they stand there with hands on hips waiting for someone else to put their stuff in bags. I HATE grocery stores!!!!!!!!!

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

ouch.

Perhaps you should send the Mr. out for shopping next time, or maybes shop online. Tesco's deliver straight to your door!

P.S. May I please see some new pictures of your boys, if possible please.

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

Uhmmm… i can kinda understand, i wud hate it when someone w/o a kid took a parking spot that was meant for parents with kids.. maybe she shud have been nicer abt it? i dunno, maybe she felt you cant be tactful or polite to any idiot like that (not that i calling u an idiot, but maybe she felt that u were since she didnt c ur kid).. :clown:

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

it has happened soooo many times with me that someone without a child parks at the place reserved for parents with kids....n sometimes i witness guys parking cars at places reserved for ladies n i KNOW how it feels ...the only thing is i never confront these ppl .....so may be just may be she had a rough experience too n came to you.......

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

Ooops..I park in those spaces:cb:

BUT

I do have a conscience..I’d never park in the disabled peoples parking..

anyway…what does it matter if you carry your child a few extra metres to the shop..:stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

LD ...It doesn't bother me if I have to carry my child to the shop.....the only time i feel frustrated is when there's NO other parking place anymore n the one reserved for moms is taken by somebody who shouldn't park there.......but well!

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

I also share your frustration...I hate it when there are no parking spaces near the shop and the mother/child ones are all taken up!

I think you Moms should be a little more considerate and only shop when the people who have no children arent there...I mean we give you enough time
9 to 5 each weekday...

Car parks are so large nowadays that you need to flag a taxi or bus to get you to the store if you are parked at the other end....

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

I guess the tone she used is wot made u angry. Bcos some ppl take advantage of those spaces for pregnant women/mums with infants, and it's not rite imo...she probably just had a bad experience in the past. Luckily i haven't come across any mad mums at the supermarket!

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

It doesn't really matter if I have to carry my child a few extra meters to the shop....but it does matter if my child is small and needs to be protected from the cold....it does matter if I'm loaded with groceries in the cart and I have to drag the cart to the nether ends of the lot in -18 degree chills because someone else, who wasn't carrying a child, decided they wanted to park closer.

Which begs the question......what does it matter if you have to walk a few extra metres to the shop? Especially since you are not loaded down with stroller, child and diaper bag.

Sheesh. I say fine those that park there and shouldn't just as we heftily fine those that park in diasbled spots.

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

hey that happens in khi,pak too.the bakery people go gagagoogoo over them fawning over their puppies(brats walay puppies not those) while i stand there waiting...hello ..bhai suno zara ..................bhai...teri tu.....,truly WITCHES with a big B.

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

^^^ Your supermarkets are nastier places than ours..

Muzna.. self preservation ...thats why the extra few metres matter

actually this isnt really too much of an issue where I am...the majority of the front part of supermarkets and carparks are designated Child friendly and disabled parking...

there is very rarely any issue of lack of car parking..unless it Christmas..and then its everyman for himself

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

I have seen these mommies terrorizing people too. One day inshall allah, I will witness a knockdown-dragout-wig pull-silicone implant popping fistacuff between mommies. Don't worries guppies, I'll take notes and share the fight with you all. Keep you popcorn ready though. : D

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

And herein lies the difference between a considerate society and a selfish one…

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

bad daisy :kursi: very bad daisy

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

Thats exactly the thing Munza. I mean, even if I saw some young healthy single guy park in the mommy spot, NEVER would I go berating and bitching at him. I'd just think, well, he prob has some need to get in and get out fast. People are just so very nasty here and very unafraid of raising their obnoxious opinions.

Re: Grocery store Bee-atch

Yes Mama......

I have done one thing though......I have asked security what they do about people that abuse these privileges and they do make an effort to monitor those spots with the closed circuit surveillance.

I don't believe in getting into yelling matches or hand signals with drivers, simply because a) my child does not need to be exposed to that kind of behaviour and b) by God's grace, both my child and I are fit enough to handle the extra few metres that lazy dazy is talking about.

But it peeves me to know that people will try to get away with things like this knowing full well that there is bound to be a deserving person coming along any minute......

If we all started taking advantage of situations like this, then we might as well give up on rules.
