I'm not married but i can still answer cuz i live in a joint family system. Grocery shopping is done at times by my mother n at times by my bro,bhabi and at times together. There is no fuss over it. We live together, eat together n buy stuff together. No issues at all.
But i can tell it must be an issue at most joint families, where the sass n bahu ought to make this n anything at all an ego issue.
