I think cooking simpler is helpful. Splurging once in a while is great but we eat very simple most of the time.

Breakfast is eggs
Lunch is usually sandwiches
Dinner is normally daal soup…I make variations of it to switch it up but husband prefers only daal soup for dinner.

Once or twice a week we will do takeout and dessert.

That menu really is simple. Do you have daal soup with bread?
