Grey matter is the space or "void’ between ur ears to your temple forehead…its usually colourless but is known to turn red in jawaani as blood vessels pass hawt:wub: blood and quickely changes to a shady pink as one escalates the age groups:bummer:… males have blue matter and I, having written such drivel have obviously no matter whatsoever:eek:

I know I lack much of mine… maybe it’s Iron in my case… :faris:

But I know that men have more of it than women and thats a fact of nature.

You have to first understand what neurons are. They are nerve cells in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) responsible for receiving and transmitting messages to and from the CNS. If, for example, you touch a hot iron, you immediately move your hand away because the neurons sense the burning, send a signal to the CNS, your brain processes the signal, and sends a message back to your hand muscles (via neurons) and you move your hand away in less than a split second, even before you have the chance to feel the pain.

So… the CNS has over a hundred billion neurons… the grey matter is basically bazillions of neurons packed together in the brain… this is where the processing of the signals takes place…

No, the grey matter doesn’t change colour in girls :vivo: It’s brownish grey in both genders… there’s also the white matter which I’m not going to go into coz I already wrote so much. :confused:
