The above was not in good taste. I have great respect for the Sikh community and their enterprising skills (that is the truth , I am not just playing goody-goody here). Telling Sardarjee jokes is one thing but calling all Sardars “Ullay Kay Pathay” is quite another.
Sikhs have founded and run a large number of business enterprises in India(that employ millions of people). Sikhs have a very significant representation in the Indian Armed Forces (unlike many other Indian communities). A disproportionate number of Sikhs have sacrificed their lives manning India’s borders and I (as an Indian) will not accept statements such as above ridiculing them. The person who led the army that brought Pakistan to its knees in 1971 was a Sardar. The Prime Minister of India,a renowned economist, is a Sardar.
I hope you have got the message. Since this is Khel Khelari, I will not stretch this subject further.
