Green tinge on upper lip?

Does anyone have this problem? and whats the best way to solve it! It’s so off putting sometimes and i look a bit homer simpson-esque with a differeent skin colour around my lips. Ok it’s not that bad - i’m exaggerating a tad

Yeh sorry i forgot to put that detail in - i wax/cream/thread it off - whichever i'm in the mood for or is easier to do.

I remember I got that when I was young and shaved off the hair on my upper lip with a razor! It goes away after a while

I think everyone has shaved off their upper lip hair when younger!! I've done that too and a few years ago so did my littlest sister :/ i've had this green tinge for a while and i dont shave my upper lip hair - i only wax/thread/cream it?

Well, apparently I've heard a bunch of reasons for this happening...

-iron deficiency
-hormonal imbalance
-melasma
-overthreading/shaving
-cream is causing some sort of chemical burn

Well for now i’ve stopped using cream but sometimes i get this tinge on my eyebrows and i only thread/pluck them hmm :khums:

I think it probably is an effect of the hairs under the skin that haven't surfaced yet. When you continually wax/thread/pluck you are 'resetting' the hair growth and forcing everything back to anagen phase, so you have a lot of growing hairs under the skin.

Oh right - that would make sense - and so the green tinge is just the darkness of the hair but you can see it as skin is translucent-ish?
