Green Tea

Re: Green Tea

ok nice information. Green Tea is refreshing too.

Re: Green Tea

Research shows ( prevention magazine article) that convenience iced teas lose their antioxidants? In fact, home made green tea that has been placed in the fridge overnight, has pretty much the same antioxidants as a cup of freshly brewed hot green tea.

Re: Green Tea

Does any one know if White tea is safe to drink during pregnancy? I love love love it.

Re: Green Tea

Now that white tea has been mentioned, I'd like to admit that I love it! The only reason why I haven't replaced it with green tea as my main drink is because of the brewing time. The white tea takes around 5 minutes to brew which is sometimes inconvenient. Nevertheless I'm trying to incorporate it into my tea drinking routine!

It is certainly cosidered more beneficial than green tea although perhaps not as widely available. I get mine from Whittards tea shop.

Automne, I'm not sure about in pregnancy, but try and find out on the internet. Although I don't see how it can be bad for you...

BTW, just wanted to let all of you black tea drinkers know, that as soon as you add milk to it, the anti oxidant properties are lost!
