Green Street and Ilford

Hi.

we are planning a trip to green street and ilford next week and i was wondering if someone can give me a postcode of the streets so that i can use my GPS to get there ok and a place to park.

also anyone know of any good places to eat there, someone has told me mubeen’s in ilford is really good.

why don’t you try town and street name for your navigation system? both tomtom and navman have that feature..

just in case choose ILFORD as town and ILFORD LANE as street name..

for green street choose upton park.

by the way, Mubeens is on Green street…

the orignal post is messed up, i meant the shopping area green street and not the one in east london or is that the same thing, im quite sure its called green street or is it called somthing else, its the place where you can buy indian goods.

^ you can do desi shopping both from Green street and Ilford lane.. on green street you have more options, but lemme remind you Green street is like any shopping area in OLD lahore. as far as parking is concerned, on green street you can park any where, you can even perform a speedy U-turn if you spot a parking on OTHER side of the road.

i thought green street was near ilford lane, but its a distance.
ive searched for it and found upton park under ground station, is this correct ?

we've just stuck to good old southall broadway for a century plus so though give these two a try. everyone has been saying southall broadway is better but we've kind of got sick of it lol.
