Re: Green Massh Daal
There are two types of mash or urd - the black one and the green one. Green one is only available in Karachi in Pakistan. I have also seen it in stores in UAE.
It is cooked in two ways:
- With spinach
- As a kichri and eaten with fresh moli and desi ghee.
Green mash when cooked with beef also tastes yummy.
