no not the FRESH beans. I mean split Maash with Skin

Mash is not green mong is green. Mash is kali daal. :ASA:

There are two types of mash or urd - the black one and the green one. Green one is only available in Karachi in Pakistan. I have also seen it in stores in UAE.

It is cooked in two ways:

  1. With spinach
  2. As a kichri and eaten with fresh moli and desi ghee.

Green mash when cooked with beef also tastes yummy.

Well! Mostly we cook all 5 daals together but they are washed ones. But some time we use chilka daals of green mash and green mong with channa, arhur and masoor.

wash daal put in pan add spices cook at the end add some black mirch and tarka with desi ghee
