Red dye is notorious for washing out. Even months after getting my hair dyed, the water would still be slightly red every time I washed my hair. Blue dye is slightly better I’ve heard.

Yes, that’s true. I had coloured my hair dark blue at home, years ago. It did come off a bit, the first 2 days, after that nothing.
