Prolly a stupid question but just wondering why Pakistanis in certain areas of the country (e.g. Peshawar, Naraan, Kaghaan, Kailaash etc) almost always have green eyes?
Blue eyes are very rare in Pakistan but pwetty green eyes are everywhere in the northern areas in particular. Why so?
Re: Green eyes genes
Green genes are prevalent in many Arab and Turkic peoples...
Most of the Northern areas are the ones that are mostly populized by peoples whos ancestors are not native to the subcontinent hence the slight differences.
In places like the Kalash vallley blue eyes are more common.
Mohammed Bin Qasim was said to have green eyes...
My ancestors had yellow "cats eyes" which are a very odd colour and over the centuries our eyes have become much darker until now we are almost black... thats becuase the dominant gene was originally from males who died off along the way... and the rest of the genes come from weaker lines.
I prefer darker eyes becuase although the bright blue and green eyes are very pretty, I guess they just look odd nowadays...
same can be said of hair colour and skin tone... Northeners have lighter and more vibrant hair colours and complexion whereas the South and East are more darker...
It doesn;t really matter that much about colour though at the end of the day it's the personality behind the beauty that makes the difference...
I once knew someone with the most beautifull eyes but alas that person was blind since childhood... we should be happy with these gifts of Allah.
