One of my inlaws wore emerald green with Cream and Gold Embroidery..
Simple makeup and she was stunning..

they wont know from a distance but when close-up pics are taken then it does show.
I think purples and maroons would suit the person.

Purples definitely...Browns and burnt oranges, golds, yellows and true greens. Rust tones!

*ANY *colour. Trust me i've seen a dulhan with green eyes, ufff mashallah she was stunning!! Depends on your skin tone not eye colour.

I agree, I dont think your eye colour matters as long as the colours match your skin tone. But green eyes would also reflect really nice in a green outfit with another colour combination. I personally think green and red is a stunning combo but you could do green beige..or green and pink? Depends on your style. For the mehndi any colour would do. Green, Yellow, Pink, Purple...really depends on chosing a suitable style and colour more than the eye colour.

I dont think it has much to do with eye color...more to do with skin tone then anything else. You're not trying to match things with your eyes, right?

With a fair skin tone, I am sure you will have no problems with a colour. Pick your favorite, any will go. I still think a green shade with green eyes is very pretty.

I usually hold it up to my neck and it works. So far deep plum colours work for me.

What color is your hair?
I have green eyes too - personally, I find that deep shades of hunter green will accentuate my eye color. With auburn hair, I find that plum and copper shades also look good. If you're very fair skinned (I'm not talking about fair skinned for a Pakistani...I mean a Northern European complexion), I would avoid white and beige because your skin will blend in and you'll look washed out. If, as I suspect, you have more of a Mediterranean/olive complexion, then you can pull off white and beige too.

I have colored eyes too stardust...its always our eye color + skin tone! I am very olive so for example I cant pull browns and such, but I can pull of red. What is your skin tone like?
