how much imli do you soak in how much cups water?

Re: green chutney and imli chutney recipe needed

I just make it one time n use it in whole month of Ramadan like I took 250 grams of imli soaked in almost 4 cups of water

Re: green chutney and imli chutney recipe needed

Green chutney:

7-8 green chillies (more if you want to make more)
a bunch of mint leaves
juice of half a lemon or lime
a pinch of salt

Blend it all together adding a bit of water to make a pasty texture.

At this point, I take an ice cube tray and fill it up with the green chutney and freeze it. Once frozen the cubes go in Ziploc bags and whenever I make chutney I take out however many cubes I think I'll need, let it melt, add some yogurt and it's delish. I don't eat it without the yogurt just because it's extremely spicy.

S_punk thanks. The pakoras were awesome. I use that same technique for onion pakori but don't add any water. That delicious as well.
