Can non working women apply for green card for there parents or is it that they cannot since they donot earn?
Anybody been through that or know of information concerning this?

Yes, non working women can apply for their parents. My husband's sister did that for their parents successfully.

No details, if the non working lady is a citizen, she can get a sponsorship application via a lawyer or from the INS website. Fill it up and send it out.

An affadavit of support from a green card holder or citizen has to be submitted with green card application, he/she should be earning person and his/her income should be above poverty level, that person does not necessarily have to be related to the sponsor of Green Card .

Let me clarify.
The sponsor of GC and person providing affadavit of support can be two different persons.
1. Mrs. Khan can be sponsor of GC for her mother.
3. Mr, Bhatti can provide an affadavit of support on behalf of Mrsl. Khan for her mother.
