...Greed...

I set short term and long term goals for me to achieve and once I achieve a goal, I don’t stop. I always want to go beyond that and achieve something higher/better. I always want more…more…and more. I can’t think of really good examples right now but here’s one:

When I am driving, my goal is to reach a certain speed in a certain amount of time. Once I reach that limit, I extend my goal and try to achieve a higher speed. Or for example when I was in high school, my goal was to join at least one club for extracurricular activities by the time I graduate from high school. I joined one when I was in 10th. Then I joined another one. Then another one. By the time I graduated, I was in 4 clubs, soccer team, volunteer, and part time worker.

Is that greed? Or is it something normal and everyone is like that? I’ve seen some people who would achieve their goal and be content with it and stop. And then there are people like me who don’t stop…

Re: ...Greed...

Well I wouldnt call that greed... I mean it's not like you're do things so that other ppl can't. It just seems like you're a very motivated person.

I wouldnt generalise and say everyone is like that but I doubt you're the only one so I wouldnt worry if I were you. In fact i kinda envy your motivation.

(Though maybe you should worry about the speed thing - that doesnt seem particularly safe!)

Re: ...Greed...

sounds like ambition

Re: ...Greed...

sounds like speeding...

Re: ...Greed...

agree with LK it sounds like you're an ambitious person.

Re: …Greed…

I just made up that speeding thing. But that doesn’t mean I don’t drive fast :halo: and while coming to University for my exam a few minutes ago, I was about to hit a car because that idiot suddenly came in my lane!

So you all think it’s ambition. I guess we could call it that. But you all do get what I am trying to say, right?
