These may not be the greatest moments but definitely the most exciting ones.
For Pakistan:
vs. India (1997-98)
Ijaz (139 off 84 balls, 10 fours and 9 sixes) and Afridi (47 off 23 ball, 5 fours and 3 sixes) came as openers to help Pakistan chase 216 in just 26 overs and just lost one wicket.
vs. India (1987, Kolkata)
Saleem Malik (72 off 36 balls, 11 fours and 1 six) came in to bat at no. 7 with tale enders and chassed a run rate of about 8-13 to win the match for Pakistan. Malik score a record 7 consective 4s in that innings.
My greatest moments as a pakistan fan
1:Maindad six of 86 Australasia cup
2:Bangalore test 1987 when roger binny got out
3:Leeds test against england in 1987. PTV specially arranged to telecast the last day of the match.
4: Nehru cup final in 89 when akram hit a six of the second last ball of the match on richards
5. Akram's hatrick against WI in sharjah in 89, taking 3 important wickets during that hatrick when WI was about to take that match away from pakistan. Pakistan won that match eventually thanks to akram's effort
6. Aaqib javed hatrick and 7 wickets against india at sharjah
7: 92 WC, semifinal when moin hit a six and four to clinch victory and then the final specially lamb and lewis dismissal and then the final dismissal
8. Waqar n Wasim's destroying england in the 1992 series in england. Still remember those toe breakers
9. Pakistan winning carlton & United series by beating WI in the best of the three finals in 97
10. Saeed anwar's 24 runs of kumble and then making 194 in that innings at chennai in 97
11. Moin sweep sixes of mcgrath in 99 WC pool match and then steve waugh clean bowled by akhtar
12. Pakistan winning the super challenge series against australia in 2002 by 2-1 and akhtar's 5 wickets in the final
13. Akhtar's destruction at wellington in 2003 when pakistan clinced the match and the series. At one point NZ were clear favourites but akhtar magic was on top when he took 6 in the second innings and 11 overall in the match
14. Bangalore victory this year on the final day.
15. Afridi's onslaught at kanpur during the 5th ODI.
Have lots but the most memorable is the '92 WC victory over England. The image of Imran Khan raising his victorious hands after fittingly getting the final wicket brings tears to me eyes.
And the sheer horror look on my Indian friend's faces was picturesque :D

i think this has got to be the best ODI performance by zimbabwe…
also for bangladesh, the win against pakistan came under match-fixing scrutiny but this performance was exceptional because it marked an all-round performance against a team which claimed to be #2…
biggest moment in pakistan cricket has to be miandad's 6 of the last ball in 1986....no ODI or test vicotry can compare to that. It was a magical moment
Miandad's six was something out of this World. Indian crowd was making lot of noise, then Miandad hit the shot, whole stadium was silent for a moment and then Pakistani fans started cheering. I have never seen a player not only controlling the game but also reversing the flow of the crowd, with his SHOT. Even most big politicians fail to control the crowd, but Miandid did it that day. For me the real cricket history of Pakistan started after that six. I mean before that media never gave cricket that much attention, but just after that shot, cricket started replacing hockey and every other sports in media and public discussions.
That six was not the greatest moment, it was the moment. Only Miandad could have produced that atmosphere.
