but lets hear about the better parts of GMA (if there are any).
it started off as a joke but the mr is seriously reading up on it, thanks to the the new media city being built there

we havent given up on GLA though… just need to compare. sigh

Much better than London. Friendlier people, cheaper living costs, lots to do, Lakes are half an hour away, nice restaurants. Oh and its not full of Londoners.

Been there a few times, no offence but seems so grotty. However, as mentioned above, people do seem friendlier and there’s loads of things to do. They have trafford centre and one of the main airports. It’s wayyyy cheaper than London no doubt.

Obviously there’s grotty areas as there are in London or anywhere for that matter. But some really nice areas in the south south west of manchester

I don’t know why but Northerns are friendlier…Southerns are snobs. Just like in Game of Thrones.
