We all work in good companies at least most of us…if job vacancy becomes available we can send pm to one of the assigned mod so they can create one exclusive thread and make it sticky… in career section to advertise job opportunity. I think this initiative will help our Pakistani community greatly! And some cases refer someone as well…

Thank you all!..i think this initiative will really help people who are looking for jobs. And awesome thing is..people who are apply can choose to be anonymous. So as job seekers are applying for job in xyz company...they can do so right away. AND be able to see company review as well from guppy/guppan.
For example..i would pm this to assigned mod:
XYZ company
position: Something something..
Contract or Perm.
Review: Company is super awesome to work with..etc etc.
Mod will stick this on one exclusive thread..member can just go to their website and apply or some instances choose to contact the person who has posted this job from his company via mod.

Well..you can choose to be their referral...depends on how much you know them. But underline fact is..if i am working for good company and there is position available why not give opportunity and direction to someone from our community.

I think its a lovely idea Xtron, thanks so much for sharing. We already have a jobs thread running in the career section but what we missed out on was that alot of people might not want to name the companies, in which case if they send the mods a note , like you suggested, the Mod can then put it up .
Great idea and will be happy to work on it immediately. Will open a sticky thread in the Career section immediately.

Ok..great!..i have couple of companies..which i know they are hiring and i know them. And kinda jobs which i will be posting wouldn't be typical engineering or IT related job. They will be various so people who are looking can choose to apply. The purpose of this initiation is help promote our young Pakistani lots to help them find employment insha'Allah. With that said..i will be coordinating with you CB..so i will be looking forward to work with everyone here on GS..cheers!
