Late Sahir Ludhianwi was one of the greatest poets.His songs were not like usual film songs but were full of literary contents and shairi.
Who can forget his songs like:

Insan ki aulad hai insan banega.
Nafrat jo sikhaye wo dharam tera nahin hai

He was simply great.I will come back with some more masterpieces of his,if friends are interested.
