No words can be enough to praise Edhi and no words can express how much we all are in shock and grief for his death.
Inna lillah-e-wa inna ilaehe rajeoon.
I just hope his mission for "dukhi insaniyat" continues forever.
There are some people posting about how the major road should be associated with his name, or any airport, or a day should be termed as "Edhi' day etc.
I would just ask, why not adopt the philosophy on which he acted entire his life? EDHIISM is quite evident. He spoke out loud everytime, not that there is anything he did and we dont know.
I just hope there are many more angels like Edhi in our nation who come forward and serve the humanity like he did.

We are more about symbolism then adapting to the good acts because plastering a building with a new name is much easier then going out in your car/bike and helping poor on the streets.

Agree 100%. I see petitions going around to nominate him for a noble prize. All that is fine but what could be more honorable than following in his foot steps and teaching his philosophy.

My Facebook wall is full of praises, stories, pictures, demand of name change of airports and all that usual emotional crap about Edhi (oh yes emotional, cause remember Amjad Sabri? Where is he now on Facebook? Looks like his 15 minutes of fame is over, and three weeks later Edhi will also be replaced)
I wanted you ask all those social media Edhi lovers that how many of you have sent 10 rupees to his foundation since he died. I can guarantee you that no one from my Facebook had done that.No one from GS either, probably.

More people attended the killer Mumtaz Qadri funeral than Edhi's. This shows what the society has become in pakistan.
