Is anyone watching it?
BBC One.
I’ve just caught up on the first episode via iPlayer and have managed to miss episode 2…shall have to iPlayer that in a couple of hours.
Gillian Anderson is a nittle creepy as Miss Havisham but quite good too.
The book took me a while to get into, but being able to visualise grown up Pip…OMG I loves him. He is LUSH!

Read it Uzzy!! It is a bit tricky to get into at the beginning, it took me over a year to read and I usually finish a book within 3 days, but it is worth it in the end.
Re: Great Expectations
I do like Dahl's Chickens, he is cool :)
Re: Great Expectations
The end part was really interesting. All the twist and turns to how the characters were connected.

Maybe in the summer hols! I don’t really like reading old fashioned style English tho. I got half way through Sense and Sensibility and couldn’t go on!

Re: Great Expectations
Part 3 was definately the best! Miss Havisham's death was actually quite traumatic. :/
Re: Great Expectations
I never could get behind the characters in the book, so this may be one of those rare instances where I'd like the televised version better.
