great confidence in science but what IS RESULT?

Although the entire mankind has a great confidence in science, and the scientists maintain an air of optimism in the case of atomic science, the actual state of the atomic science is deplorable and hopeless. Radiation, the dreadful radiation, is inherent in atomic energy and the atomic bomb, and it is harmful to health in any amount. It can kill on the spot. It can kill through radiation sickness. But its worst feature is its genetic effects. It mutates the genes, and there is neither a means to detect the mutated genes, nor a means to destroy them. The mutated Gene moves secretly, generation after generation till it makes its existence manifest in the form of abnormal birth. This abnormality is inheritable, that is the monster begets alike monsters. The kinds and numbers of abnormalities increase through marriage till considerable proportions of populations are involved. The entire mankind may die as cancer-ridden chimeras that are animals with a medley of organs of various animals. The same would be the end of all living species and plants. Also the effect of radiation on genes is irreversible, irreparable.
Know for sure, that no sure cure for radiation sickness has been discovered, nor is there any in sight. Radiation destroys the cells of cancer but does not cure the disease. Reactors can explode any moment and inundate the neighbouring districts with deadly radiation. No protection against radiation is possible for the inhabitants of such districts. Man in the case of radiation is a helpless spectator from the beginning to the end. Scientist ought to have rendered the radiation innocuous first or had furnished the means of protection against radiation to the masses, and then only recommended the use of atomic-energy-for-peace. And it appears as impossible. The scientist is guilty of a gross violation of the rules of the general methodology of science and is impeachable. But the atomic science, atomic scientist and the mankind, that is the trio has become blind due to the greed and helplessness. Nor protection is possible either against radiation or the atomic bomb. This is the divine punishment and no protection could be there against the divine punishment. Will this mankind think?
