How to avoid hair from getting greasy every other day? Does dry shampoo make your hair fall out?
Re: Greasy hair
Uhhh my hair drives me insane. If I wash it, then the next day it is a greasy mess and I have to wash it again if I'm planning on going out :( It's been like this since the past few years and no matter what shampoo I use, nothing makes a difference. I've even tried washing it less frequently for a while but that did nothing for my hair. I see some people who wash their hair like every 3-4 days and it does not get greasy at all, so annoying. I've tried dry shampoos too but idk I never get that 'clean' feeling with them so I still feel the urge to wash it instead but I've never had a problem with my hair falling out because of them.
Re: Greasy hair
don't use shampoos that are supposed to be for oily hair because they strip off all the naturals oils in your hair, just use regular ones... it might take a while to get you hair used to being washed less frequently so you might wanna try that again and be more patient. cover your hair when you're cooking if you don't already.

Omg I have the same problem! I hate it...and yeah I get so jealous of ppl that can go days without washing their hair...its just so time consuming whenever I wash my hair cause I have to then blow dry, and if I wanna leave my hair down whenever I know I nwwd to wash my hair that day! How do u know which shampoos to not use? Which shampoos should we use??
Re: Greasy hair
i guess this is general advice, not just for people with oily hair, but i always suggest to use a sulfate free shampoo, the majority of shampoos have it so it's not easy to find but i personally use The body shop's rainforest shampoo (for normal hair), it's SLS free, silicone free, paraben free.
Re: Greasy hair
I read in a article to add like 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in your shampoo bottle, and it'll help clean your hair of all the build-up.
I tried it with a small bottle of shampoo and only added like 1/4 tsp since it was a smaller bottle. I did feel a difference, my hair felt lighter, and clean - lol I don't know how else to describe it. but I think overusing it might make my hair dry. Plus like **cinnamonroll **mentioned it'll strip the hair of all the natural oils. So now I do it once a week.
There also clarifying shampoos that are specifically to cleanse your hair of oil, buildup, etc. so maybe look into that? again, once a week would be ideal.
Re: Greasy hair
yah clarifying shampoo is ideal once in 15 days specailly for dry hair. I hv also face same problem.
even i feel and bad odour in my hair if i don't wash them so suggest good shampoo.
