Grand Opposition Alliance

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

They all do but in a little more civilized societies, they form alliances and play politics on 'issues' rather than one point agenda of taking down the current government.

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

so u are saying PP govt is fool???

anyway, back to topic, MQM have joined PMLN's grand alliance ( whereas PPP have started civil war like situation in Karachi by killing over 2 dozens in last 48 hours), Fazalur Rehman also ready to join...with like-minds (hum-khayal) of PML-q hinting to be part of alliance, this leaves, ANP+PPP+PMLQ on one side and PTI as a commentator...

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

Fazal ur Rehman is not ready to join the opposition alliance at present, lets see what he decides in the future...

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

knowing fazulrehman, he would be part of this alliance (if formed)...he can't stay out and miss the benefits of being in the new govt..opportunist like him never misses such kind of opportunity, he is out of govt for a reason

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

PPP must complete its term, come what may. It is not for the PPP, it is for democracy. And in next general elections, PPP will be without its main election slogan that it is never allowed to complete its term.

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

^ but you never know who might get shot....and killed......there will be another 'qurbaani' and all the stupid sympathy vote going back to them....

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

'GRAND' Alliance in grand in name only...they are as corrupt as PPP...Try IK :)

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

Yo are right...these 'qurbaanis' are costing us dear. But even without 'qurbani', PPP vote generally remains intact. Hell that people don't count performance and cast vote dumbly.

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

How many times "khilafat" was successful in lets say 1000 years of Muslim rule? Khilafat soon turned into kingdoms and only 'family' inherited the rule..... the difference is???

Re: Grand Opposition Alliance

PPP has support of PML (Q), ANP, PML (F), BNP (A) and NPP as well Independents giving it an overall tally of 216 seats in the National Assembly.

The ‘Grand Opposition Alliance’ of PML (N) with MQM, JUI (F) and PPP (Sherpao) only have a combined total of 125 seats.

If the numbers stay as they are, I don’t see any problems for the PPP govt completing it’s full 5 year term, which ends on 16th March 2013.
