Hello. This is such a last minute post but basically my fiancée is graduating on Thursday 
but I need an outfit to wear. My safe outfit is a shalwar kameez but I would love to wear something different but respectable because his dadi and nana will be there. Help?

How about a dress, tights and some heels (the above red picture is a good one). It'll look nice since you wear a hijab (if I remember correctly). And so cool that his grandparents will be there as well!

Midi dresses are in right now, so you'll find lots of options. Should be fine with black tights and heels. There are lots on asos, order a bunch on next day delivery. You can send them back if you don't like any. Or something like pleated palazzo pants and a cute top.
Yeah jeans are way too casual. Im thinking of a maxi skirt with a blouse? Not sure if I can pull of palazzo trousers with my thunder thighs lol

Yeh a maxi skirt will have pretty much the same look as palazzo trousers so sounds good.

I was gonna suggest a knee length black dress with a cowl neck until I saw the dada dadi part .How about a shift dress with high heels and nude tights or dark tights?

Aren't tights going to look a little trampy to a dada/dadi? They might be all 'hai she got her legs out'? I say stick with something safe like a maxi or even a pretty pleated skirt :)

Yeah i defo can't wear leggings/tights. i was gonna go with these palazzo trousers but i got home and tried them on and they just stick to my butt! which means I'm gonna have to get up at the crack of dawn and go outfit hunting again. might try a pleated skirt..any ideas where they have some nice in stock? at affordable prices? THIS IS LONG!
