If you have seen “the great debate” on Geo television yesteday the two gentlemen representing the govt. side were highly unimpressive, and their behaviour was far from being described as decent.
These gentlemen who are representing Mr Musharaf on media are doing more than oppositon spokesmen to make Mr President unpopular amongst the people of Pakistan…

The two govt. spokesperson were Ahmad Raza Kasuri and Sher Afghan.. Sher Afghan was a s usual making fool of himself whereas, Kasuri is an idiot who got infuriated and started foul language.. Kasuri was Govt council in CJ case and got hefty fees for doing such a poor job.. with idiots like these Musharaf need no enemies to destry him..
Re: Govt. losing mediaq war due to unimpressive spokesmen
Musharraf's time coming to end quicky.
They are not only making him so unpopular, which is evident from his current ratings, but also they are playing an instrumental role in bringing down his government.
It seems unlike his early days he is totally trapped amongst these khusanmidi chamchaas.
When Zia ul haq experimented with election in 1985 his government lasted till 1988. Mr. Musharraf has already completed 5 years since he made his so called democratic experiment. Let's see how long can he survive furthur.
Anyhow he survives or doesn't, for the moment needs a new media policy run by new people if he wants to remain popular amongst the people...

He had very fine and good people before 2002 elections but due to western pressure for democracy he had to hold the elections and take on plunderers and terrorists into his governement. Now its time for him to reap the bad crop.

I miss Mr Razzaq Dawood, and many others who were part of his team before 2002, real decent people.....
Re: Govt. losing mediaq war due to unimpressive spokesmen
Ohh now its the free media's fault. Damn Musharraf for Freeing the Media so much that they can provoke people and have impartial views! Damn Musharraf!
Re: Govt. losing mediaq war due to unimpressive spokesmen
Watch Iftikhar getting his usual fit and taking it from there, also watch how Hamid, Iftikhar joined by Tariq Mahmood and Munir Malik giggle at Sher Afgan like school girls, make fun of him, the pro-govt side and try their best to not let them make their point properly or fully. That Sher Afgan is not as much of an orator as Tariq Mahmood is of course a disadvantage for Sher and the govt. But what were the anchors for?
